Teams will consist of five members. Registration per team is $175.
Teams will compete in the following events: Groundhogs .22, Swinging Handgun Targets, and 100-yard Rifle Center fire, Fur & Feather 12ga.

Well, it’s our 23’rd anniversary for the shoot and we are proud to host the Blackfly shoot again!
We will be shooting on our newly renovated and CFO approved range. We have worked hard to bring our ranges up to standard and are proud of our efforts. For the purposes of the new ATT guidelines, this notice serves as an invitation to all competitors transporting restricted firearms to our range for participation in this event.
This friendly competition will be held on May 26, 2013 and will consist of 5 person teams using shotguns, handguns, .22 caliber rifles, and black powder or centrefire rifles. The shoot will start at 10:00 A.M. at the club range on Highway 17 west of Wawa.
Due to the growing popularity of this event, we are in the position that we cannot function with more than 10 teams. Registrations for the first 10 paid teams will be only be accepted, and paid registrations must be received no later than May 15’th. Entry fees are the same as last year, $175.00 per team, and prizes, refreshments and lunch will be provided
The match is set up as follows:
1.) Five shot – 25 yard handgun target on a Swinging Target setup (any
caliber, any type of sights.). This is a 20 second timed event and targets are mounted on pendulum type swingers.
2.) Five shot 100 yard target centrefire or black powder (any caliber, scopes and peep sights are permitted). All shooting will be done from a sitting position, but without using the bench for support.
3.) Five shot groundhog shoot. This event consists of shooting wooden groundhogs with .22 long rifle (only) rimfire rifles.
4.) Fur and Feather: After last year’s hand launching of the rabbits, we have purchased a new fur and feather thrower! At the rabbit run, as soon as you shoot at the rabbit, a clay bird will be launched along the run at about eye level – so you will need something to get two fast shots off with! This year, each shooter will have five chances at this event so you will need 10 shells.
In order to minimize delays, teams MUST come fully equipped and prepared to shoot when their team is on the shooting line. All team members MUST be completely familiar with the type of firearms that they will be using.
