Hey guys,

The junky Baffin boots I got for hunting last year have developed a bunch of holes. I need new waterproof boots.

I was thinking about buying a set of these http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/new-us-mil-mickey-boots-with-valve-black.aspx?a=66036

Has anyone used these for hunting? They look warm and waterproof, and I remember my dad used to have a pair that lasted forever. I just think they might be like wearing a furnace on your feet in October/early November, and they might be a little low-topped for hunting boggy areas . . .

How far you plan on walking with those? You going today? Hunting season just opened for us woooo!

I'll do a lot of walking, since it seems to be much cheaper than driving . . .

Duck, partridge, and rabbit season opened today. I went out for partridge this morning and got shut out . . . but I saw a lot of nice land.......always fun to explore with a gun!
