Hi there!...I'm new in reloading and since I started, I used the mecanic RCBS scale of a friend and now that he's ready to start reloading, I have to buy one and this scale from Frankford Arsenal company seem interesting due to the price but is there any guy who have had one or heard something about those?....whats the pros and cons of it??
Here's the link where they sell it:http://www.sirmailorder.ca/show_prod.php?product_id=742160&cat_id=10&subcat_id=107&PHPSESSID=d475289834142b3ff2925f763e96c0ed
Thanks!

Junk, don't waste your money. I've tried one, and it doesn't hold zero, instructions are crap, and it shuts off every 60 seconds, you have to keep turning it back on.

spend the extra and get an RCBS scale.

Ok thanks guys!....I'll not take any chances with this scale.
I just look at other models at Cabelas....the one named ''Cabelas XT 1500'' is 79.99 but I red the ''Overall Customer Rating.'' and it seem to be not so bad at all but guys seem to have to calibrate and zero it pretty often (zero each 10 charges and recalibrate each 20 charges)....also, the Lyman 1000 XP (100$) had bad comments.
So now, I hesitate between the Dillon Terminator and the Hornady GS-1000....the Dillon have 5 stars comments but the hornady did'nt recieved any comments to this date.
If anybody have any feedback on those, feel free to help me.
If I decide to buy a mecanical one, witch one could be great for the price?...the Lee is cheap but is it accurate anought?
Thanks alot!

I have or had two of these pocket scales. First one from Cabellas, which I still use. Second, one from Frankford Arsenal, which I bought for a friend for Xmas. This one I set up at home, tested, and used just because I wanted to make sure it was as reliable and accurate as the Cabellas. It was...and is.:) They're both "plenty good enough" as long as you keep an eye on the return to zero and tare until they warm up a bit AND set the auto off time up to 10 minutes or so.
I also have a couple of beam scales which I use occasionally and sometimes as a double check against the electronic jobs. So far I've been waisting my time with this move, but I guess it's good insurance if you're feeling fussy.:) I always zero the pocket scales with the beam scale pan rather than the mickey mouse pans they come with, and can thus lift a charged pan off the one and onto the other.
