Due to another one of Canada Ammo's ridiculous sales events, the fall clearance sale. My credit card took a beating... again, when I ordered a bunch of shotguns, and shotgun shells. Anyway, I thought I'd take all of them to the range and give my two cents on what the best shorty shotty is. Keep in mind that all these guns are still on sale right now WAY below the MSRP in this video. Anyway, check out my video and reply with your favorite vertically challenged shotgun.

Having shot all 3 I still enjoyed your vid. I love the look and style of these guns but over all quality is lacking. They are still fun just not built to be used alot

They tend to need some work and mod's to keep them from falling apart....not the end of the world but something to be aware of if you don't enjoy working on guns and fixing things.

The double shot into the bank is quite telling as to the barrels regulation...... you don't mention that in your glowing report on the outlaw.

I found a perfect use for a shorty. When I had my plane the survival kit included a broken down short barreled shotgun rolled up in the sleeping bag. I took a Cooey single shot and cut it off at 20". I think I paid $50 for it at a gun show. It was a bit rough, but 100% functional. I carried slugs, buckshot, bird shot and 12g flares.

The double barrel would be perfect for that.

Well they sure look fun. I like your vids, I think your edits are great and you have a nice, relaxed, confident demeanor in front of the camera.

I guess its safe to say the Grizzly 870 clones are Norincos best short shotgun offering? I'm about to acquire one and this seems to be the case from testimonials.

Can-Down, I think the double shot into the bank when one shot landed a few feet higher than the first shot ( if that's what you're referring to) was just a delayed pull of the second trigger making the the shot go higher due to the recoil of the gun. It shoots very straight and consistent. But like I said in the video... I wouldn't take them hunting, or shoot at anything over 30 or 40 yards

I've enjoied all my Norinco shotguns, but I would probably agree that the 870 pumps are probably some of the better made ones. I have 12.5" one and its a great gun
