Anyone know of a dealer that deals with Midway near Kingston, Ont. Do my google searches for stuff and they keep coming up with great deals but they do not ship to private international addresses. Anybody dealt with them before?
 
They got in trouble for sending scopes to Canada and now won't ship to Canada at all, I deal with Mid-South Shooters Supply instead, better outfit.IMHO

Thanks, but how do you pay? Midway won't create an account if Billing Address is outside of US. The only time I used Midway, I asked my friend from Boston to order stuff for me, he shipped to a PO Box, and I paid him via (FRAUD ALERT).
 
Midway won't accept a Canadian MC or Visa! been there tried that.I tried to get a .54 caliber green mt barrel for my TC Renegade but no dice.So I went through a Canadian gunsmith who had all the permits for bringing in barrels and he was one of their regular customers.Two weeks later I find out my order was red flagged because it was over .50 caliber!!!!idiots!!!Muzzleloaders are perfect for shooting down low flying aircraft????I want nothing to do with Midway USA.They have a UK store that likely is hassle free as you don't have to deal with the US...........Harold
 
I have stuff shipped from Midway to a P.O. just across the border all the time, using credit card has never been an issue. Just remember not to try to export controlled items, not that CPB does export checks often, but your F***ed if they catch you with controlled items and no permit!

I think I will try Mid South next time to see how they are.

Most US vendors are now stopping the practice of selling anything to anyone that pays with a CC from outside of the US but ships within the US.

The State Department is now doing audits and they are checking the "Bill To" address. If it is foreign, then they assume the goods will eventually make it out of the country. They will then warn/fine the companies accordingly. (This was posted in another thread by Pete Brownell, yes the same, a member here)

Midway USA was dinged $330k for sending 250 scopes out without export permits, and Zeiss USA was fined $10k for sending 10 scopes to Zeiss Canada!! The fines were on top of legal fees the companies paid and of course bending really far over while the State Department went looking for clues.

Muzzleloader stuff is not supposed to be controlled. You can order it yourself from Track of the Wolf or anyplace not staffed by people brainwashed by Homeland Security.
