We are able to offer the Newcon LRM series of mil-spec laser range finders. We have 4 models available: 1500M, 1800S, 2200SI and 3500CI.

Each model number corresponds to it's rangefinding capability:
1500M -1500 meters - $449
1800S - 1800 meters - $549
2200SI -2200 meters - $949
3500CI -3500 meters - $3999

All models measure distance to terrain features and still objects. Results can be displayed either in metric or imperial. A selectable reticle, target quality indicator, scan mode and measurement recall are all standard features.

1800S, 2200SI and 3500CI and up can measure speed of moving objects. The 2200SI and 3500CI feature compass, inclinometer, gating and first/last target capabilities.

Comes with manual, carrying case, carrying strap, battery, and microfiber cleaning cloth.

Features include:
• Rubber grip panels for secure grip
• Seperate sensors for superior reading capabilities
• 0.5 second measurement time
• Advanced electronics and software provide unmatched reliability in adverse conditions and excellent repeatability on difficult to range targets
• Rear ocular can be used in conjuction with Newcon NVS night vision monoculars (see here). Mount required.

Is the distance referring to real range, or some fake "you'll never find in the environment reflective target" range? :yingyang:

Distance capability referrs to 2.3x2.3m NATO target, albedo 0.3, visibility >20km.

We've taken the 2200SI out and did some testing; we're able to get 2km+ range estimations without issues.

We have tested on a moving person; it was able to provide a speed and distance reading no problem. I'd imagine a deer would be the same.

What model was used in the test and at what distance?
Thanks

Exactly, I'm interested in knowing how far out I can range a man or deer with the two model's I listed. 1000+ meters, sold. 600 meters ... not so much.

I believe the hardware is capable; the hardest part is being able to hold the device steady enough. A man at 1000m is very very tiny. That said it has threading for a tri-pod on the bottom. A tri-pod is recomended for long range estimations.

Would you say both units are capable of ranging a man out to 1000M? (1500M / 1800S)

Warranty? Available now? Will you have these at the Sportsman Show?

These have a 1 year warranty. Yes, they will be at the Sportsman Show.

We're only set-up for exhibition at the sportsman show, but we can take orders so we can ship when the show is over. Bring your checkbooks! :D

Wow! How did you forget to mention it's CANADIAN!!!??? :canadaFlag:

A Canadian made LRF that meets the Swarovski 1600 specs for HALF THE PRICE?! I'm in love and ready to pull the trigger on one and ditch my s**tty Bushnell 1200 (read 600) 'Legend'; that is, if someone will still buy it.

Bravo, bravo.

The only thing I'm skeptical on is the 1 year waranty, might have to buy the 3 year...

It was tested agaist the Leica and was to range within 98% of it. Straight from the horse's mouth:
