Do any graduates of the Milcun courses care to comment on their experience there? Did it improve your performance?

Trying to decide between Milcun and McMillan in the States.

Excellent course at MilCun. Linda and Keith have the experience and the medals to prove they know what they are talking about. In addition, you will get personallized attention. If I had to choose, I would go with Linda and Keith hands down.

Been there for their police sniper-level courses. In one world....Awesome! They are world renowned! You can't go wrong with their methods of teaching and expertise. Send them an email, they'll be glad to recommend training for you, whether its for police, competition, hunting or handgunning. They do it all. Cheers!

Keith and Linda are top shelf. You will save yourself a pile of $$ by attending their courses here in Bantario. :D

Your results will immediately reflect your rapid rise in confidence! :)

You will never be disappointed!

PM me for more feedback about their instruction abilities. Many shooters they have instructed have achieved fantastic results. That's all I will say on this public forum.

Barney

A parallel to the MilCun courses are the clinics offered at MilCun through OSA, (www.osacanada.ca) which Keith and Linda teach. Same great instruction. OSA also hosts guest intructor clinics. First one is in April, but it is already over booked.
The OSA 2011 schedule is now posted on the website.

As a graduate of PS1 & PS2, it is well worth it!!
It definitely improved my shooting skills and ability.
I'm heading back in the next year or so.

I had the opportunity to shoot and practice with Keith long before Milcun was invented. I can assure anyone that Keith and Linda will go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need. They make it personal and it is what they do best. You will learn things about wind reading from an actual Combat Sniper and accomplished Target Rifle shooter too. You can't go wrong there.

I've been to McMillain 3 times.Won trips and shot at their competitions etc. It's good but there are better schools out there(Rifles Only)
I was coached by Keith and Linda on the CF Bisley teams and learned way more from them than I ever have anywhere else.Save the travel expenses and hassle and go see Milcun.

I learned more about marksmanship at the tactical rifle course than I had in 15 years in the infantry.

You'll love it. Bring bug juice.

Many thanks for the responses, everyone. I'll be attending the Enhanced Rifle Skills course in June, and am very much looking forward to it based on what you've written and feedback from other sources.

I'm lucky enough to have a cottage in Minden, so that will help to keep the cost down.

First class teaching. I first recieved training from Keith for long distance while he was still military and then again after he and Linda set up shop. I can't say enough about what they taught and how they teach. Great folks, you'll learn a lot. I have used rifles built by Keith, top notch.

I took the five day rifle course in June of 2010 and recommend Milcun highly to you. It has been decades since I have had any formal instruction and my skills have greatly improved. PM me for additional info.

About 3 yrs ago I took an M14 clinic at Milcun. The range is a privately owned 1000 yd range! With rifle and pistol layouts on the west side nearer the cabin/classroom building.

Keith and Linda are coaches and builders. You need to adjust your expectations. Their skills are not shared with lightweights. They will challenge you to learn, to pick up their points and not to forget them. This is not a place to have a vacation with guns.

X2
You will not regret it.

I had taken their "Competitive Rifle" course and their "Precision Rifle" course several years ago. To say I hit the ground running after attending these courses is an understatement. I owe much of my success in F Class and Precision/Sniper competitions to several sources, but much of it to Keith and Linda. If you are new to bolt action rifle skills and are very serious about learning/competing, then they are the ones to strongly consider.

I was lucky enough to have Keith`s youngest son as my best friend during high school, and he was the training officer for my reserve unit in Ontario before he left the forces to start up MilCun with Linda. Keith taught me many things surrounding shooting. Everything from the basic military HABIT, to the meta aspects of shooting. If I lived closer to Onterrible, I think I might be a regular there. Much respect for both Keith and Linda in thier professsional and personal achievements. Nothing short of great people.
