Okay you Long Range shooters, even Newbies and wannabe LR shooters:

Here's a message from Keith and Linda about some F-Class or Competition courses being offered (in Ontario, sorry about that  ) this summer.

This information is being sent out to a large number of people. I realize that not all of you will be interested in this and I apologize for any inconvenience. Just before you delete it, I would ask you to forward it on to someone you know who might be interested.

We have received several inquiries from people who are interested in a course on F-Class style shooting. This course would teach marksmanship, competition procedures, wind reading, use of the E-Z graph, necessary equipment, general techniques and anything that a shooter needs to know to feel comfortable about getting started in this competition (or anyone who wants to brush up on skills).

Normally we do this course over 5 days - Monday to Friday. However, we are well aware of the difficulty in fitting such a week into work and holidays schedules. We are, therefore, offering this course over two weekends and we are also keeping the week between them in mind as well. We would like anyone who is interested in such a course to e-mail us and advise us which dates would suit you best. They are as follows:

Choice 1 - Weekend dates - 22-23 July and 29-30 July
Choice 2 - Weekday dates - 24-28 July

This course would be conducted at our range complex. You can find accommodation in local motels, be provided lunch at the range and probably see wildlife every morning on your drive in.

Please advise us as soon as possible so we can firm up the many administrative details.

I hope some of you who are interested in learning from the best will look into these course offerings. Trust me... they are a fabulous couple to learn from. They even have all their success stories to back up their knowledge, experience and professionalism.

Cheers,
Barney (Long Range Wannabe)

Well as a graduate of PS1&2 Keith and Linda are excellent instructors. I learned a hell of alot and I am a much better shooter because of it.

The Milcun Marksmanship Complex is up in the Minden area. I deliberately don't want to get into specifics out of respect for Keith and Linda's wishes. Once you register and are good to go, they will forward directions to you.

Like Sgt Stryker said , about an hour from Barrie. Know anything about Lindsay ? It's about 1/2 hr NORTH. Around Minden and Kinmount area. Okay, that's it.... I'm getting tooooo close. LOL

I've shot lots and lots of matches with Keith and Linda over the years. Each conversation is truly a "good" one. My wife has just signed up for a pistol clinic through the ORA with the pair ! I'd better get reloading a shztload of 9mm ball.

Cheers,
Barney

Thank's Hungry and Busta Capp.

I didn't want to sign up and find out it was in Kenora (well, actually I do, It would give me a good excuse to go fishing).

You have to get a hold of Keith or Linda at their website.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at this moment(Mid March, 22), they are slightly busy. They are occupied in Melbourne at the Commonwealth Games. Yup, both of them are shooting !

Whoops, I stand corrected. Thanks Maynard !

They are not in Melborne. Pat Vamplew and Jim Paton are there shooting the Fullbore events.
