Thanks lobsterpot. It is indeed the promag mount, with a bushnell TRS-125 red dot. The mount seems to be just the thing, nice and solid, still can use the iron sights and good with stripper clips and can still field strip. So I think its one of the best options for this kind of job.

Love the SKS but not a huge fan of the colored stock but as they say to each their own. Let us know how you like the mount. I'll be getting one for my Chicom soon enough.Thanks for letting us see yet another one of these magical beasts. Can never get enough of the SKS.

I like the look of painted guns, but only when they are a flat colour. I don't like the shine on yours. But that's just my opinion.

It's close, I'd go over that green with some Krylon Olive Drab and I think it would look better.
