mildots vs moa

I was looking at Leupold's TMR and Mildot reticles (Mk4 4.5-14) and the M1 knobs (nice) are in moa.

I must be missing something, isnt it difficult to use a mildot marked reticle, and yet adjust with moa marked knobs?

Wouldnt you want mildot spaced markings/indents on your knobs to match the reticle?
 
Mils and MOA

That is why I ordered my IOR Valada with Mils Turrets and Mils reticle.

Keep Metric with Metric and SAE with SAE, less screwing around with conversions... :D unless you are used to it.....;)
 
Falcon Optics is company that offers matching reticle/knobs (Metric) if your pockets aren't as deep as those who can afford Nightforce or IOR. Amazing scopes for the money. :)
 
I hear what you guys are saying. The Leup 4.5-14 Mark IV isn't a cheap scope...I'm curious why they don't match turret to reticle.

Do people not really care that much about mildot ret matched to moa turrets?

That would seem like a pretty basic thing to get right on a somewhat expensive tactical scope like the Mk IV?
