Does anyone know were to find some once fired military 308 brass. This is getting so hard to find. I know you cant bring it in from the states without an export permit, but there must be some around. I was lucky enough to find some IVI stuff last year but have had no luck.

Looks like I found the answer to my own question. Henry at Budget Shooting Supply has mixed head stamp 308 brass. I ordered 300. There are a lot of military head stamp as well as some commercial. It appears to be very good quality that has been tumble cleaned. I haven't had a chance to go though it all yet, but I have ordered 223 military brass from him before and it was top quality. I recommend Budget Shooting Supply to anyone looking for mil spec brass. I don't think it will last on shelf long at the price for this good of quality. Thanks Henry.

Isn't used by the military much any more. CF doesn't release brass for sale to reloaders either.
Look at the primers. They'll be crimped.

Yes military primers are crimped but it's an easy process with a swage tool. The military brass lasts longer than commercial brass in my M305.

and military match brass is all mostly within 1 grain of each other,,i have batches that are within .2 of each other,,,the crimped primer is no big deal...weigh commercial brass and it's shocking the variations in weight,,,

COuple questions: Is the brass Budget shooter supply has mostly military? Any other sources for Lake City or other NATO brass right now?

The stuff I got from budget is mostly Lake City. There are some Winchester WRR, and Remington RA. There are also some commercial like FC, Rem and Winchester. But most are military. The LC was from 2012. It comes tumble cleaned. I can't find any other source for LC brass in Canada. Exporting it from the U.S. Is illegal.
