Yesterday I traded into some 7.62x51 nato fmj ammo.
The boxes were marked Century Arms,Montreal Quebec.
Lower on the box is marked Chech made. The boxes were
light blue, pale even and the ammo looks good. The primers
have are black or painted with black gloss paint. The head
stamp reads ZV......69......7.62.. I have'nt shot any yet
and was looking to know more about this ammo.Is it
corrosive?Pretty sure it is berdan primed for a guess but
the brass is nice be a shame if it is.Any info would be
appreciated.Thanks 375rum

Probably of Sellier&Bellot origin.
There have been many variants of these. Fire one and check inside for the primer hole(s).
One thing for sure, it IS corrosive. Even early Boxer primed Czech were and you don't want to run the risk of discovering it too late...
No big deal though: a good rinsing of the bore with hot water followed by normal cleaning and oiling procedures will do.
Good shooting!
