Since the current government has no missgivings about spending money,it would be the perfect time to get replacements and inject the surplus market with pistols we would all be eager to buy.

They're trying to take away our handguns, why would the government put more guns on the streets?

They aren't doing anything productive or anti crime.
They are actually doing the opposite,the government has no problem with guns on the street otherwise they would be doing something about gangs,boarder smuggling crimes involving guns with tougher sentences.
In fact they are of the opinion that first offence while armed with a firearm is to be sentenced to house arrest instead of prison.


Like I said they don't hate guns,they just hate doing what is needed to address crime.
