Just got an email from Bud informing me that all serving military members be having our membership fees waived for the duration of our service and for one year after. Also, we will be getting refunded our membership fees for this year.

I just want to give a big THUMBS UP to IPSC Ont, we appreciate the recognition and I hope to hell I wind up in Pet, Kingston or Ottawa so I can keep shooting with these guys.

Given the make up of our military, I would think it would be a good idea to extend this to reservists too...

Agreed. If the intent is to show appreciation for service, then there is little distinction between the two components these days. And it will simplify things.

It would be good for membership numbers too.
 
I'd have to check the numbers, but I'm pretty sure the amount of reservists taking part in overseas activities is at least equivalent to reg force, or at least pretty close.

Depends on the Roto, but TFA runs about 25-30 percent. Of the smaller (very small now) UN missions, the numbers can be much higher.
The numbers are increasing.
