Is this a legit military target drone or something cobbled together or just a giant toy? Measures approximately 10' x 10'. Really small propellor given the size of the plane.

Thoughts? ID?

Appears to be made from wood and fibreglass. Looks like a small two-stroke engine. Couldn't get close enough to it as it's hanging in the air.

Called a Mini TATS as in Tactical Aerial Target, the early versions had zero look for realism but the later family as this one is looked more "real". At Gagetown the Arty School flew these for various MG courses. We had one go down in the grass a couple hundred metres down range and it was kind of funny to hear the TATs operator screaming to not shoot at it as seven C5s chopped it to splinters.
