I realize that we can find Militec in the USA, but anybody have a source, store, mail order, online order, place to find 1 oz bottles of this stuff ?

I'm starting to use my sample bottle that the Militec people were kind enough to ship me. It feels nice on the AR bolt carrier et all.

Cheers,
Barney

the note i got with my sample bottle said that might repeat might be acanadian dealer this summer/fall- probably got a whole lot of cdn eviro hoops to jump through before we can sell it here- in the meantime, the samples have to do

Soldiers provided consistent comments that CLP was not a good choice for weapon's maintenance in this environment. The sand is a fine as talcum powder here. The CLP attracted the sand to the weapon. Soldiers considered a product called Militec to be a much better solution for lubricating individual and crew-served weapons.

This is what I continue to hear as well from everyone.

Farmboy, I see that you list Gromley as your location. Are you operating out of the Grange gunshop? I'd like to try that militec stuff.

Target Sports Center/ Grange and One Shot Tactical are seperate companies however we do have a close working relationship.

I just happen to be close the the range.

I will post an announcement when it arrives and I can meet you at TSC if you'd like to try some out.

Just got back from an RV with Farmboy, now he also supplies my lubricant of choice, stuff works great and without any of the CLP headaches attached, stop taking my money please as my wife is starting to believe I have a mistress on the side;) .

gadget:p

I was talking to a WO that returned from Iraq and was told they coated there weapons in DryFilm lube and let them set over night and apply a drop of miltec on a patch and wipe over the bolt your GTG
