I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the millet DMS scope? Would this be a good choice for a shorty m14? Where could I find one in Canada, preferably in the ottawa area? Thanks

Or alternatively you could save the tears and just give me the pertinent post info. I used the search function for the words millet, DMS, and millet DMS and got 3 threads without the info i required. Thankfully though unlike the search function you were moderately usefull by pointing out a post that is helpfull. Semi thanks I guess.
P.S. see it's easy to be a #### online

You are proving that point clearly there newbie....way to win friends. Your username suits you.

1. LEARN how to set your search parameters
2. READ the posts that an effective search turn up, all of your questions are answered(over and over)
3. If you WANT experienced people here to post the answers to your questions...even though we have answered them all 100 times allready......to help you with information because you are too goddamn lazy to actually make the effort to find the info, you *may* want to refrain from being the "####" you claim to be online ;)

What's the next post going to be....."Who makes the best AR?" or "Which caliber for bear defence?"

Lord knows those topics havent been covered either....

didn't berate you sweetie, i just answered in a tone fitting the response. I'm not here to win friends. I'm here to learn. For the most part i've accomplished that here. My post count is a reflection of a few things the first being me not responding to topics i don't have the ability to be constructive in and the second is me spending more time shooting my guns than my mouth (as in i don't have time to play on CGN all day and still get trigger time). Long story short is if i hurt your feelings you could gear down and adjust the tone and likely people would be nicer and/or apologetic rather than rude to ya. Have a GREAT day.

Whatever......I know all about the DMS...in fact, I had the first one in Canada, AND did a massive thread on it :D

Maybe if A: Your professed "learning" actually included basic search skills
or
B: You learned to adjust your "tone"

You'd have the info you want...."sweetie". I took the time to do a full review, answered MANY questions like yours over a period of months, as did others here. If you think you are "entitled" to all of us taking the time to answer them AGAIN just because you can't/won't make the effort to look up the result of our previous time investment, you really are delusional :)

But then again, I can see the members here just lining up to help you, so I just let the multitudes that are here to serve you speak up.....oh, wait.......

Whatever man you obviously have more time to be a pain in my ass than i do to deal with ya so you win alright big guy.

Awwwww.....I'm sincerely sorry if I hurt your feelings......maybe I should have given a different answer for my first post.....some here would have posted "Learn to use the f**king search function noob!", but I had a feeling you might be a little sensitive, so I took a more gentle approach. My mistake, won't happen again :)

Now go to OT and ask Wes to make you feel better :D

If you have a 'cheapie' (Norc) AR the Millet is a good sight (not great, but really good) it should work fine on an M14 -others have used it on them. The illuminated reticle is clear and IS visible outside on a bright sunny day - I checked it today. The glass is very clear considering the cost. I wouldn't bet my backside on it (if you're going to be doing 2 way range stuff, for gods sakes get a short dot), but for what most of us do with rifles it fills the bill and is a great buy for the price. I got mine from P&D (they'll have some more soon) and it was just UNDER $300. Great service, fast delivery, no issues what so ever. It was the first time I've dealt with P&D but it won't be the last.

Thank you sir. There will be no 2 way range use so it sounds like it will fit the bill well. Thanks for recommending P&D as well.
