Good day all. I have a very small job that wants a machinist with a small milling machine or Unimat, preferably in the west end of Toronto. It's a very small job, but I'm not looking for a freebie. I am willing to pay and I also have an end mill that is now surplus to my needs that will be given to machinist. Any takers, please PM me and help out a fellow gunnut. Thank you.

I hand cut (hacksaw and files) a replacement sight for my S&W Mod.3 Navy in .44 Russian. If I still had access to my old shop and the drill press and sliding cross-jaw machinists vise, I could do it myself. Alas, if wishes were horses, beggars could ride. I would like to have a smooth even mating surface where the new sight block mates to the rib and to have the semi oval that fits into the rib properly shaped and sized. Old hands and old eyes got me close but I need the precision of a good milling machine.
