Are there any stores in Vancouver that carry milsurp ammo? I am talking 7.62x54r and .303brit . I want to do some shooting while I'm in town, and will be leaving Victoria before my usual supply opens this week. I'm not looking for 1000+ boxes, maybe around 100 for an afternoon.

I see. The local shop on the island is a bit of an anomaly I guess. Every kind of ammo you could want, and a whackload of nice milsurps! I guess we're spoiled here. If anyone else knows where there's some lurking, speak up!
.303 is a thing they don't have in surplus, unfortunately. Only place I've actually seen surplus .303 was at the duncan gunshow last winter. Funny how you only realise something is a good find after missing it.

Judging from the past HAC shows that I've attended, I'd say the good ammo deals are done. Still a bit of X39 for reasonable prices, but the X54r, .223 .303 is hard to find or too expensive. The shows are usually the same bunch selling the same stuff but I still go and end up buying something that I don't need. Good spot for prices on guns though. ..The 2 day show in chilliwack was well laid out
