I've been racking my brain for days, searching the web.

I bought a Swede M42B from him that was in "mint condition". I figured, "Whoopee", and sold the M42B that I had. When the "mint" one arrived, I had to go and beg back the one I sold. Salter's deteriorated big time in the mail, from mint to average. How does the post office do that?
