Fwiw, Vic and tuco have sold gunboards and it's been on a downward slide ever since. I still go there for mosin stuff as Vic still posts, but the writing is on the wall there.
When I use an Android device, the site re-directs you to adware/malware sites. Likely that's a money making scheme for the new corporate owners.
I like here for the EE, but it's not my first choice for serious milsurps discussion.
Milsurps.com is the best Canadian-run site if all you want to discuss is milsurps. It's not polluted with ar15 threads and hunting posts. It is really an international membership tho.
I go on milsurp.com . But you gotta be careful . If you try to ask questions on there , or post info , you,ll find the same 5 or so guys will jump on your posts and drag them off into oblivion of b/s . Other then that I go there . The last question I posted there . I messaged the harpee,s and asked them to leave my question alone for a week to see if I could get some rational answers . Went over like a lead balloon , but it helped ha ha
The two firearms sites I spend time on are CGN and Milsurps.com
I honestly don't post too much stuff on CGN anymore, the climate here has changed over the years. Usually if I get something that I want to share I post it on Milsurps.com first then here as a second, though sometimes I don't even bother with here anymore. There is definitely a bit of a old boys club there, but that being said it is a pretty knowledgeable and interested in the topic old boys club.
