Id just like to start by giving my apologies to those of you who have been wondering my where abouts for the past several months. Due to some personal issues I had not been able to commit myself (as much) to my fellow CGN'ers.

However, at last I have returned and in full strength, and to make it up to you guys I thought I'd post some pictures of my collection since I have had a few additions since I last posted on here. I may have not been posting as much in recent months but I still tried to force myself to get on here every couple of weeks for a read...I must say I have missed my fellow K98 lovers (Steve1987 and Canadian AR especially) and I can still see you guys are as active as ever!

Anyways folks here you go!

Glad to be back and looking forward to the discussions!

Cheers

Looks like you're off to a great start!

Building a quality collection is not easy. I found getting the first big items (like matching K98's) were the toughest, but as the collection grows it seems like eventually more items will find you! Keep going with it!

These things have a magnetism or something.... or perhaps it is just synchronicity..... but it seems that they DO find each other.

I looked for many years for a ZULU gun, being that original Tabatieres are teeth-in-a-chicken rare, finally found ONE. Within 2 months, there were two MORE in the house, along with the remains of an 1854 French rifled-musket: the guns they were converted FROM. So I looked for ONE old French piece and ended up with FOUR. Thankfully, Janice has adopted two and I think she has evil designs on yet another, so I might have to start looking again!

I am just hoping that the same scenario plays out when I finally run into a Werndl.

Friend, you have the start of a great collection!

Live right, keep your eyes and ears open.... and the Milsurp Gods will send the REALLY nice ones your way!

In the meantime, we're all here, waiting to hear from you.

Thanks for showing!
