After viewing Drachenblut's wonderful Swedish m-94/14 carbine restoration, the pics reminded me of photographs of the M-94 still in use (O. Janson author of Swedish Military Rifles 1894 - 1995 reports that they are still used in parades):
This made me wonder - what other prewar, WW2 and 1950s milsurps are still in front line or ceremonial use? I'm excluding reserves as that would probably mean almost every 20th century milsurp created.
To begin, I'll list two:
SKS - Honour Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; Moscow, Russia. (courtesy Wikipedia)
M1 Garand - Honor guards of Taiwan Armed Forces, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall; Taipei, Taiwan. (courtesy Howard61313)
BTW I didn't know how to size these jpegs down so apology given. Thx
