Milsurps that used a front sight base around .645-.650?

Trying to put a front sight band on my custom Mosin with a barrel dia around .645"

I tried

NO1MKIII,
M1 Carbine,
7.62x51 K98..
8mm K98

All too small. 7.62 K98 was the closest at .60X, 8mm was .614

No4 wont work because the Bayonet lugs.

Anyone have any milsurp guns that have front sight bands, start to measure before it, so I can get an idea what. I gotta buy.

I opened up a No4 front site on a lathe when I set the front site back

Probably something you'd have to make. Or turn the barrel down a tick. You'd still have to take the height into consideration as well.
An M1 Carbine barrel is a half inch, as I recall. Not a press fit at that diameter either.

A lot of what I'm seeing with most front sight bands I came across is. Either too small, or not enough material to bore out.

No4 might be the only option other then turning down the barrel because the bayonet lug cut out on the Front sight band may allow me to get that diameter needed.
