Mini 14 " AR Magwell Adapter "

Guaranteed it will cost more than the savings on the amount of AR mags the average person would purchase for the Mini. Also I don't think people will be as quick to take a dremel to a 1000$ rifle as they are to an Sks.
The Ruger factory 20 and 30rd mags are excellent mags, their only drawback is that they are not half the price.

ar mags would make the mini 14 worthwhile, other than just having one to piss off an anti.

Yeah I'm surprised they haven't put out a revision that takes AR mags, I bet it would sell like hot cakes.. Even though they already can't keep stock.

Yeah, but 10 round AR pistol mags are nicer than 5 round mags...IMO anyway. Not to mention the option to run Beo mags.

There used to be dual use ar/mini 14 magazines made.
Apparently they didn't work well in either rifle.

Just jawing.

Magwell is too narrow. You'd have to mill the receiver out leaving thinner receiver walls and im not too eager to see the results of what that would do to the firearm. In the end, i had a mini14, i have made the adapter for both my sks and my bolt action xs7, but decided to part ways with the mini vs trying to attempt to make it work with ar mags.

Sold the mini and bought an su16. Happy with that decision.

I think you may be happier with an MR1 if you think that. It does cost 700$ more for the same accuracy however and have less aftermarket support.

Did you find that after shooting both the Ruger Mini-14 and the Benelli MR-1 that their accuracy was comparable taking into account ammo. quality and other factors such as wind/distance...

No I didn't when I compared the two and in the threads I've seen displaying the mr1 accuracy haven't been anything too impressive considering its price either.

I have one somewhere in the gun room, it never worked very well.
I don't think it's very hard to modify an AR mag to work in the Mini-14 though, or maybe it was the other way around. PM me if you want it and we'll see if we can work something out (if I can find it).
