Mini 14 black gun build

So I'm thinking about pimping a Mini 14 but I'm not sure if I should stay blued barrel/aaction because it's a "black" gun or get the stainless and build that up.

Thoughts?

Look at both in their stock form and decide which one looks better like that, then once you decide you hate all that plastic crap you can put it back that way.

I do like the stainless better stock, but, it may not look as good pimped.

Go with the Stainless/synthetic and don't bother with the pimpin'.. save that for your 10/22's and AR's.
I just think the Mini's as they are is the best way, save for a couple add-ons like a sling, scope and so forth..

I have tried many options and have gone back to the original stainless synthetic. The only modification I would like to give a go would be an Ultimak or Amega Ranges rail. Can't get them in Canada though as far as I can tell.

I like the look of the promag sparta stock but the wait is killing me....
