Mini-14 in 6.8 - who sells it?

There is at least one in Canada. It was on the used rack at Shooter's Choice in Waterloo, Ontario, a couple months back but has since been sold.

My friend bought his at Epps a couple of years ago. He has the stainless/synthetic stock model. I have watched him try to accuratise it with mixed results. After lots of work & load development he has it down to 1 1/2" groups @ 100m. Not terrible accuracy, but not too bad. Ammo is difficult but not impossible to get. Reloading is best with this caliber.

I have one and have seen others around. Not a lot but I don't think they are that rare. It is not a target rifle. I have had about the same success accuracy wise as your friend with Hornady VMax bullets and Speer HP's. I haven't fired a single round of factory ammo through it. It has been all reloads. Too hard to find and too expensive. Brass is not hard to find- they always seem to have some at WSS in Kamloops. Bullets are not a problem. Best powder to date: H322.

had one, traded threw wolverine supply. they may still have it. i did not like this rifle, shot very poor even with the new 3x9-40mm vx11 i had on it. ammo is not cheep and can be hard to find. out of all the minis i owned (about 10+) from factory folders to mini 30s, this one was the poorest shooter. i've read some shoot and some don't. i order mine threw gone fishing in port alberni b.c. you can get them anyplace they sell rugers. also you can't get the high cap mags for them to pin to 5rds but they will feed from the .223 mags
