I have been scouring the internet for a forward mount configuration for a Mini-14 similar to the one shown below, but have been unable to find anything for less than around $100US. For those out there that are more knowledgeable in this type of stuff, could you give me any and all ideas for products/prices/retailers in Canada who deal in mounts (of all kinds) for the Mini-14? It doesn't even have to be a forward mount; I am open to all suggestions (other than the obvious: "Forget the Mini-14...buy an AR-15") 
I am new to this rifle, and most of the mounts I have seen are directly above the receiver and seem to sit unnaturally high (to avoid the expelled shell).
