Mini-14 Prices, availability

Hey,

Starting to shop around for a Ruger Mini- 14. Can't seem to find any in my area. I live in Calgary Alberta. Anyone have any tips where I might procure one?

Does anyone know a decent ballpark for a new or used Mini-14 Ranch Rifle? 500-900 used?

Basspro is looking into getting them, AB Tactical has a target used for 900... but I just want a new RR carbine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check Elwood Epps' website- seem to have a few in different flavors.

Everything I read suggest the newer ones are better, in that they have heavier barrels.

In Calgary at the Canadian Tire on Macloed Trail South they have a new Mini 14 and 30. The prices were $900 for the 14 and $1000 for the 30.

Also Wholesale Sports has a Target 14 new for $1100.

Just purchased a brand new Mini-14 Target from TNT gunworks in Regina for $950 plus tax ($1045)

Lake Huron Rod and Gun in Tiverton, Ont had a couple of Mini Targets for $929.00.

I picked one up on here about a month ago, it is a standard blue wood (exactly what I was looking for)in excellent shape. I was only bought a few items off here (3 now) but every experience has been just as positive as any store (used to buy from sir quite a bit but haven't so much since cabelas bought it out).


Epps site I think has two ranch and a target on it as of the other day I think they were over 6 bills.

Fun gun to shoot. More accurate than people give it credit for hunting, plinking, etc. Anyways good luck with the search.
