I’m looking for a medium range, (3 to 9 etc) good value for the money, scope for my mini 14.
Leupold? Weaver used to make those wide screen scopes… Do they still have stuff like that or not? I guess I’m showing my age,
Thank you for any suggestions or guidance as I’m not really up on the latest technology scopes… I have a Leupold 6-18 and Leupold 6.5-20 which are amazing scopes, but are a few years old…

A leupold vx1(owned but on different rifles) & nikon prostaff 5 3-9x/monarch3 1-4x(owned both, both on mini) are all good budget choices in my experience.
Good eye relief, eye box, mounting space, working with iirc low warne qd ruger rings.

Also would suggest the Leupold VXR or the Leupold Mark AR (can be had in 3-9x or 1-4x in a 1" tube) Nice and light (12 ounces) and the small profile fits the mini well. You can get use Ruger Medium rings and not hit the rear sights.

I'd go with Bushnell AR Optics 3-12x. You get tactical turrets and parallax for under $300.

You could go with the 3-9x but why bother when you can have 3-12x for about the same cash.

It's no Schmidt Bender but they seem to work just fine.
