Mini 14 rebarrel ?

I have an old old old mini 14 that has some sentimental value. It shoots like crap so I dont use it at all. Does anyone do work on mini 14's in canada.
I want to install a heavy barrel and have other work done.

There are a couple companies in the US that sell better barrels for the Mini. Do a google search and you should find some and may be able to import one. Not cheap though.

There are also other options. A barrel stabilizer will work wonders. I bought a Har-Bar barrel stabilizer from the states. It clamps to the barrel and gas block and decreases barrel whip. It also acts somewhat as a heat sink. Check out the website. I did a review for them on the website. I found that accuracy from one of the old Mini's I had at the time improved very, very dramatically.
