Mini 14 target question

I have a question for my fellow nutters who have Ruger mini 14 target rifles. I'm shooting 55gr reloads out of my rig, and the shots are humping each other on paper. I have set the stabalizer back from the muzzle (appx. 2 inches). My questions are: Where do you set the stabilizer for a 68gr bullet, and is the 68gr bullet not appropriate for the rifle's twist? I don't know what the twist rate is for this rifle. Thanks to all who can help.

68's should be fine, lots of guys say even heavier bullets are good too with 1:9 but it's a bit hit and miss, but OAL becomes an issue feeding from a magazine with the longer, heavier bullets above 68.
