mini-14 trigger job

just got back from an imprompt2 trip to the range with the mini after a trigger job, before it shot 3,4,5and 6" goups. after the trigger job, was gritty with some creep at 5.6lbs, now smooth crisp, no creep 2.13lb trigger shot 1.5" groups, some snake eyes, the ocasional flier when it got hot but overall very happy, coyotes beware! thanks khoeep you are awesome

Did you do the trigger job yourself or by a gunsmith?

a friend of mine is completing his armorers course and is always eager to work on friends firearms for practice, did a superb job and i will bring him everything he can handle. its good to have friends that are docters, mechanics, and of course gun smiths lol

ps if you are looking to do it yourself look up greatweastern gunsmithing, they have instructional onlie videos on triggers, beadding etc, very informative, but if u think you might scerw something u probabbly will lol, then u shopuld likley bring it to a smith

It's easy to do, I've done my mini 30 and 14 both have increased accuracy. A great mod with benifits, a ceramic file and dremil are you best bet for this job.

next step is to add some weight to the barrel, have a levang 6 port compensator, see what it does for my groups
