The 43rd. annual Mini Palma was held this past Monday at Bull Meadow. Started by PEI shooter Al Mutch and New England gunsmith Creighton Audette, it is hosted alternately between New England and the Maritime provinces. Not surprisingly, top TR was Braden Colman-Sadd, who competes well nationally and at Bisley. Top FTR was RCN's Pierre LeBrasseur. Adam MacDonald, who just won the Canadian FTR title and is headed to Bisley for the European championship was wind coach, as was long-time coach Dave Oakie and Braden. Organizers Braden and his mom Evangeline were appreciated for their organizational efforts. Adam's wife and engineer business partner Laura Kaderly, MacDonald Innovations provided invaluable assistance with their Shot Marker system. Sean Crosby and Shawn Starratt helped with RO duty and Shawn did BBQ.

It was great to see "Mutch" at the match as he has contributed greatly to the shooting sports on the finer aspects of sportsmanship combined with technology and skill.

The Americans were fine sportsmen and women and the camaraderie was tops!
