Mini Shotgun Shells

Would you guys buy mini shotgun shells for your 12ga shotgun if is...............................

1. Was cheaper?
2. Was cheaper and more readily documented on what shotguns accepted it?
3. Was prooven to work flawlessly?
4. Was loaded in Bird shot?
5. Was loaded in Buck shot?
6. Was loaded with slugs?
7. Was loaded with steel balls ( buck shot )?
8. Was loaded with exotic compositions ( flare / sonic bang / etc )?
9. Was sold by a fellow CGN member?
10. Offered free samples to EVERY ONE - In return for freedback good/bad?!

Depends on how mini I suppose. I'm thinking of target shooting, so payload, and muzzel velocity would be of concern. Furthermore, pattern would come into play.

I'd give them a try.

The flares I have in mind are colord red green or bright white.
As for the bird shot, it will probably be lead - Like a regular bird shot load!

I'd be quite interested in slugs & birdshot for open IPSC - plus 00 or 000 buck for defense loads in my 8.5 inch barrelled 870 - assuming they fed OK (believe there is a mod to optimize 870 feeding.)

This isnt one of those things though.

I am imagining something like .22 shorts in a lever gun. Capacity goes way up. The reduced noise and recoil would be nice to for plinking.

As for flares and other novelty items, I have to give a resounding hell yeah for those.

I would pay $ to try all of these out if I felt that they were safe.

Yes, I would be in - exotic rounds would be a big yes. Buckshot and birdshot rounds would be nice, and would like to hear if there is a way to optomize feeding these mini rounds.

i would take some flares, slugs and shot. and all the rest of the good stuff.
would even give my opinions on the stuff and review it if anyone really wanted to hear me.

Aguila makes them but they won't function in most pumps.

I am getting overwhelming replies on this mini shell.........I am aware of agula making these shells, but I am more then certain they have not put their heart / soul into perfecting these!

The market is wide and they probably thought of this idea as a quick "lets make money scheme"

I am in it for the aid in home defence / a new era of spcialty ammo for spcific situations........where flares buck slug bird etc shots would be required!

I will delete the other poll and keep this one as the main one!

Seth these shells will become flawless on the guns that readily support the shells, the ones that dont will also be looked at and custom parts will be machined by me and if they are indeed flawless they will become production parts so as the mini shells become useable by all those who would like to have home defence rounds at a LOW economical fee

So long as it was safe in my future shotgun (18" 870 and likely a break action of sorts) I'd defiantly try them out! Be curious how well buckshot would penetrate (a la water box o truth).
