I have a Mini Thirty that I've used to hunt deer at -100yds. I shot a buck this year and noticed the round ejected but the round in magazine failed to chamber. After further shooting it seems to be recurring, I did use different magazines. I've used the same WW psp ammo for years and never had any problems. Suggestions

.
Clean the rifle, especially the gas port. Lubricate lightly. Check the chamber for fouling or rust.

. A certain amount of gas pressure at the RIGHT pressure is needed to operate the system. When using reloads, loading the inappropriate powder with an inappropriate burning rate can cause lower pressures at the gas port. I see though, you are using factory ammo.

Are the mags your using Ruger mags ? I had a mini 14 in 223 many years ago and it always functioned better with the Ruger mags. also is it the same batch of ammo or new stuff . not enough power and she might not cycle just right. also take it apart and clean it and put some light grease in where the bolt slides in the receiver and a light coating of oil on the outside of the bolt and inside the receiver where the bolt slides. proper lubing brother . you have to make sure everything is moving nicely with no binding . let us know what happens.

If one steps back and researches similar complaints, you will expose two highly probable causes. Magazine geometry (feed lips or position) or ammunition.

With those out of the way, I would check out the main action spring and look hard at your extractor and ejector.
My two bits.
