minimum cartidge size alberta

it escapes me at the moment but does anyone know the min cartridge size for hunting in alberta?i know the caliber has to be .233,but a dont know the case lenth.the reason im asking is that i want a certain rifle in 7.62x39 for plinking ,camp saftey (bears and weather changing rodents)and target practice but it would be a bonus if it was legal to use hunting thanks in advance

There is no longer a minimum case length requirement in Alberta.

I'm sure there is still a Min Caliber on big game
I think it's larger than .23

Both correct. Min .23 cal and no case length restrictions.
