Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone else has had issues with there minox scopes? I bought a ZA5 2-10x50 from EE and this deer season hit the woods with it. The optics are exceptional and was very happy with it until........one snowy morning I was clearing the glass of snow and low and behold internal fogging? WTF I haven't had a scope issue since the days of dusk till dawn bushnells. Very disappointed to say the least and I hope this is not typical of there scopes quality. So I am looking for a repair center for them and with the help of this site stumbled upon Canadian Outdoor Distributing in Cobourg Ontario. Rick ran the numbers and it not a Canadian model that they distributed. I was thinking I was screwed when he told me to send it to him and he had one there for exchange and that they don't make this model anymore. Big thanks to them for doing this. Don't know if they sell stuff or just distribute but they are a business I would sure recommend. The new one will be here in a few days and I am keeping my fingers crossed that no more issues arise with my Minox. Thanks

Yes sir... these folks understand customer service, and truly practice what they preach. I did have issues with Minox scopes, and they dealt with them. If you purchase a product that they distribute, you are in good hands... As to Minox scopes... well, I have moved on. Clear glass, good eye relief, but several other issues with the model I had. But like I said, water under the bridge now... .

Did have POI shift problems at all or more cosmetic stuff. Just curious what to expect

Minox is really intriguing me. Schott glass means fantastic glass to me but thats only half the picture. A good truly solid build and repeatable reliable mechanism is the other half.

I'd love to try them and I keep looking at them but just can't pull the trigger yet until I know more about the build and use.

With mine? Two developed an "out-of-focus" spot in the center section, and the windage adjustment stopped working on the third.

I understand that Minox is coming out with a new line of scopes - If so, I hope these, as well as other reported issues (primarily a "wobbly" zoom ring) have been addressed. I was very happy with the glass.
