Missed the boat on .22

Where is all the damn .22 ammunition? What the heck man? (ok, rant over) I just when to take my shopping cart to the checkout with a few boxes of 308, a cheap scope for my savage .22, a 1000 wolf 9mm's and 4 x 555 .22 Winchester's. But I guess I missed the Winchester's by a day or so!!!

I see all you have for .22 right now are the Remington Golden Bullets. Are they the "New and Improved" ones?

Will you be getting more CCI or Federal match .22 bulk anytime soon?

Also hoping you'll have some wolf 9mm bullets on hand around the same time? (putting a case aside for me till some .22 comes in probably won't slide will it?)

If I heard correct, the Americans are hoarding the .22 LR ammo, very little or next to none are getting up here. It will be a very long time till we get any CCI up here.
CCI put on a 3rd line and more shifts, and still can't keep up with the demand down there.

Maybe if we go down to the States and dig in someone's yard, we might find some.
 
It's been getting pretty bad. Hopefully the ammo bubble bursts and we go back to being able to get quality .22LR for $0.04/round again. I was pretty excited to find a couple 300 round boxes of mini mags at the store-which-shall-not-be-named a week ago. :D That was the last of what they had unfortunately.

My LGS had Velocitors a while back $90 for 500. ($0.18/round) I bought them. :(

You can find ammo occasionally, just keep your eyes peeled and stock up when you find it.

Well, I have bought two different bricks of CCI from new stock - from two different shops within the last couple weeks.
 
everytime I went to the gunshop I thought to myself "low on .22 better pick up a brick".
When I finally got around to checking, I had 8000 rounds.
I think I'm good for a little while.
 
The Federal 525 bulk packs and American Eagle shoot wonderfully in my 10/22 and are copper plated. Not too hard to find at Canadian tire every now and then. Winchester wildcat and especially super-x HV is utter garbage. Was getting 30-40% failure to fire on clean hard primer strikes. The Winchester 222/333/555 bulk packs are OK. Very few misfires and widely available at rural Canadian Tires on the outskirts of Ottawa. Copper plating is poorly done and powder is a bit dirtier than I expected which is why I'd rate it as OK at best.

Though, when LeBaron has CCI mini mags for $7.09, it can't be beat.
