John was the Cooey guru. He wrote the book on Cooey firearms. A walking talking book of knowledge who was always my first call when I was stumped. He always had time and a friendly smile. Gone but not forgotten.

Yes it's available on eBay. I'm an avid cooey collector and his book has cost me alot of money over the years but the info is truly amazing as this was done long before our good old internet.

I found a copy on Amazon and immediately placed an order. Been diving into the cooey collecting scene and this looks like an invaluable piece of material.

It was really nice to see the replies to my posting. I couldn't even begin to put into words his knowledge. He was brilliant. A retired investment lawyer. His collection was colossal. Many wonderful times spent with him. Kind and generous to a fault.
