Missing 'safety'

I am aquiring ( another) single shot 22... the safety is missing ( mossberg 320)
Since I never use a safety anyway,( I never load a shell in the chamber until I'm ready to shoot) how important is this?

It's only important if you think it's important.

I like me chit to work, but that's just me.

As long as it's not required for the bolt to function ,it's ok..I never use a safety anyway and on a single shot it's not essential as I only load when I'm ready to shoot.i bought the gun knowing the safety ever was missing ( full dislosure by the EE seller)

The safety on the 320 were often removed as closing the bolt reset the safety. And as I can confirm as of last Wednesday that can be a pain. I am not going to change that as at some point I may be using it to train a grandson. - Bill
