Missing the spring in T6 stock

The T6 stock that I got recently didn't have the trigger group spring that is mentioned in the instructions. No biggie, but the TG doesn't pop up when disassembling, I have to really yank the TG hard for it to come out.

Is this my luck, or has Tapco dropped the spring alltogether? If ppl got this spring in their kits, could someone pls. describe & maybe measure it so I can make my own? TIA.
 
i just gopt my T6 yesterday came with a spring.
i cant measure at this time, the pistol frip is attached
 
I thought about putting a piece of rubber pad instead of the spring, the TG doesn't pop up without it. BTW, do you have to remove the pistol grip for disassembly? I can't seem to reach the TG latch while keeping the hand grip on, and I'm afraid of stripping the threads off if I keep removing the handgrip bolt.

That is the exact reason I shaved that area, pulling that self tapping screw will wear the hole so it has to be done in my opinion.
 
Thanks, but I'm not sure I follow. Did you remove material from the pistol grip itself? If its not too much trouble, could you take a picture of that area? TIA.
