MDRG's first Bianchi Match
The match will be held over two days with six event times each allowing for six competitors. Time and speed are of the essence! All persons interested MUST register in advance and are expected to be on site 30 minutes prior to their match time. Cost is $20 cdn. and you will require 192 rounds of ammunition. All pistols are welcome but due to the nature of this match rim-fire is not recommended. This is a timed event, re-shots of matches will be at the directors discretion.
Due to issues of safety and in compliance with the MDRG event guideline, holsters may be worn for carry, but unless you hold a certification for IPSC , IDPA or can provide proof of current membership in Law Enforcement, you may not draw your fire arm from the holster during the event. Starting position for those not qualified for holster will be a single hand grip, low ready.

Please submit your interest to speedsteel@shaw.ca indicating the day and squad time you wish to compete. Please include alternate choice should your squad time be full. I will do my best to facilitate your requests on a first come first serviced basis.
Course of Fire
The Courses of Fire that comprise the 1920 aggregate points consists of four separate matches:
The Practical Event: From the appropriate shooting line, the shooter fires at distances from 10 yards to 50 yards under varying time limits.
The Barricade Event: From within shooting boxes and behind barricades, a shooter fires at targets on either side of the barricade at different distances and under varying time limits.
The Falling Plate Event: From the appropriate shooting line, the shooter fires at 8 inch round steel plates arranged in banks of six at distances from 10 to 25 yards under varying time limits.
The Moving Target Event: From within shooting boxes at distances ranging from 10 to 25 yards, the shooter fires at a target moving from left to right with the target being exposed for only 6 seconds. Competitors shoot from both standing and prone positions and are also required to shoot with both strong and weak hands at various stages.
