Mk iii*

It depends, some can range from $250-$450, depends on make and year. If its in good, all matching original condition, a good offer would be around $350. But it all depends on your friends knowledge, you could say its worthless and offer 5 bucks for it;):p:D

it is still in military config, I would say 90% condition for sure, made by BSA, no modifications made that I can see, no sling or bayonet.

I can't believe it was ever issued given the condition.

Generally in good condition they are worth $300 - $350. The serial numbers should be all matching. Bolt body, receiver, barrel under the rear sight fore stock and the nose cap. The bore should be in good shape as well, saying that there are so many ways to describe a bore condition.

Without picts it’s hard to value a rifle, $300 - $350 would be fair.

The headspace must be ok to get the big money too. You have no idea what has been done to a 60 plus year old rifle. Lots of full stocked Lee-Enfields have been assembled out of parts bins too.

I've never heard of a Mk iii* so it is a tough call on price. I really think a decent description and a couple of photographs should be posted as a minimum when asking information on weapons. It's like saying I want to buy a Ford, how much shoukd I pay for it.
