MK18- Noveske or DD

I want or need a 10.5 complete upper, dont ask me why lol, I just want one. Narrowed it down to these 2 makes, by the way my existing lower is a Noveske match with 14.5 Noveske basic upper. Price difference between 2 MK18 uppers $180.00
should I flip coin ? kidding aside, need your experience and feedback. thanks
Noveske MK 18,$ 1350.00
DD MK18 $ 1,170
by the way, Noveske has a basic model 10.5 ( m4 handguard, FSB) for $1050.

If it were me, I'd just mod the rifle you have. Chop that FSB down, ditch those rails and put a Noveske NSR on there. It will be lighter than either of the two MK18 setups and you'll still retain the 14.5" barrel/mid length gas system.

Don't get me wrong, I've had some 10.5" carbines in my time but they have their limits and you really won't gain anything over your current setup. Anyhoo, I vote the Noveske. Here's a MK18 I built using a Noveske barrel...and below that, what it evolved into after I got sick of the DD RISII.

If you already own a Noveske, price is likely the least of your considerations. I'd spend the extra $180 and keep it all the same brand.

thats problem, I want to keep my 14.5, and still hunger for a 10.5, just for kicks and just in case we wont see anymore 10.5 with states going on. I know the limitation for the 10.5, I think everybody experience this bug. lol

I think you won't see 16" ar15 because of problem down south..
Less people can buy sbr in the states.
