MK4 #1 "surrey" Help

I have a MK4 #1, #matching in excellent shape looks new, the only thing that was done to it was the front wood replaced factory refurb, the barrel and rear stock have not been touched, barrel has the big winged front original site and rear flip up peep.barrel grooves are deep and sharp looking from what I can tell. Rear stock is mint with brass end. it's a 1943 ROF model marked "surrey" on the barrel, the guy I got it off bought it new in 1970 and custom ordered it. This baby is mint he only put 30 rounds in it. This firearms was never registered

What would the value be on this . pics later. Also would there be any probs trying to register this.
any help would be great it's my second enfeild and I know nothing about them.

It would be a commercial sporter-parker hale or BSA can't remember which, worth probably $150-$200 in sporter config, bit more if restored...$300+.

I have called feds and registered rifles. No problem. But amnesty runs out in two weeks, i think, so phone them right away.

Unless they renew it again. The amnesty was originally announced for one year and has been renewed annually since and probably will be again, but then again it might not. If anyone wants to register something, they might as well get on with it.
