MKA 1919 match gen 2

Absolutely love mine , no issues at all. I was very impressed on the build quality , I opted for the alloy receiver not the polymer. It has run everything I`ve tried so far but only acquired it a few weeks ago.
See below for the difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2

Yup it's a great shotgun I haven't had any issues with mine either
I have the one with the polymer lower. I wanted the aluminum one but none were available at the time
they don't like the Winchester universal target loads, at least the one I have doesnt

A guy I know bought a gen 2 match. And it cant get through a mag without stovepiping (shell snagging on the chamber opening). So far we've put around 100+ trap shells through it. Sent it back to the retailer, they "supposedly" shot buckshot through it flawlessly and are now sending it back. So I guess we will see....... I have my doubts though.

Is the 1919 or the deyra the better of the two since the two are the same price?

Does the deyra take 10 round mags or only the 1919?

Both have a 5 round mag capacity (different across the border) and from what I`ve read the Derya has quite a bit of plastic on it compared to the MKA. There was a great post on here comparing the 2 and based on that I bought the MKA. I`ll try and find the post for you, it was very informative.
The MKA has the option for a polymer or a alloy lower , I opted for alloy.

Which is built better? The mka1919 is polymer u less you pay for metal lower but I never see that option on checkout at any retailers ?

I have the alloy lower purchased from Tactical Imports and the build quality is very impressive. They currently have the alloy ones listed on their site.
So far mine has ran everything through it including the cheap Winchester white box with no issues.
Where in ON are you ? If you`re anywhere near West Ottawa , you`re welcome to try mine.

Gypsy, thanks for the gen1/ gen2 description. I have the Gen 2.
A comment I have at this point is that I screwed in a Remington 870 muzzle brake, and although it threaded in, there was an aesthetic gap left, as if the muzzle brake couldn't be screwed in quite deeply enough. The gap doesn't allow for any void/ space where air pressure could escape, so the muzzle brake still functions fine. Not surprisingly, it did work itself loose, without any Loctite.

I went with the Typhoon F12 (NOT the Maxi version). It is solid, all steel, and has shot several hundred rounds reliably, including grueling dusty conditions at the BC Redneck 3 Gun match. Highly recommend it!!
