Got my first rimfire today, first powder burner actually. Thought I would finally break my posting cherry when I actually own one.
So this is what I just had to have, a Savage MkII .22lr with a lefty bolt!

I got that gun in a right hand model and let me tell you, I love it. I put a $90 Bushnell scope on it and it has never failed me. You will be very pleased with its accuracy.

Congrats on the new gun! I am sure you will like it. Make sure to give it a good clean before you shoot it.

This one's mine. Pre-accutrigger though. A little shimming took care of that. Scope is a Millet Mildot 6 x 25 x 56mm w/sunshade & target turrets. Bad mojo for gophers.

I got a MKIIFV and it is pretty good.

So far my kills with mine are 2 flies at 50 yards.
Next time I am bringing maple syrup to the range.
Great practice for moving targets.

Savage has great bang for your buck.

I just bought one today too. I needed another .22 to go with my 10/22t to bring to the range. Going out tomorrow to try it out.
