O.K. so I have a TC Omega and I have it scoped and have thus far only shot sobots and powerbelts with 777 pellets. Now I have a hunt planned this fall in Colorado and I have to use loose powder, no sabots and open sights. I will use powerbelts, since that's O.K. and I will put the tru-glo sights back on but what are your thoughts on loose powder and what do I need? What do I hold loose powder in out in the field? What is the best powders and do you have suggested loads to try?? Thanks for input.

I would try using 777 or Pyrodex in around the same charge weight that you use in pellet form. You can use speed loaders with pre measured charges, or you can use 35 mm film canisters. I also use 1/2" copper pipe, with a cap soldered on one end a cap just slid on the other. I cut them to the length needed and just carry in my pocket.
