MMMM Marlin 1893 Takedown Goodness!

Hey,

Just picked up this nice Marling 1893 Takedown circa 1906 with a really nice bore in .38-55 for $682.00 shipped!!! My new deer slayer for next year!

It is missing the flat spring on the magazine cap for the takedown function. Does anyone know where I might find one, or if anyone has a picture of it, I can maybe make one to fit it?

I guess the black picture was looking down the bore!

But that is a nice rifle. Next year we should see the proof.

Anyone know what the 1893 magazine cap takedown flat spring looks like??? I wouldn't mind trying to make something to match.
